September 12, 2021 | Matt Ware
Each one of us is called to not just BE followers of Christ but to actively DO something in order to Multiply God’s Kingdom. This series dives into the practical by exploring how you can get off the sidelines and discover why you’re here, what you’re gifted in, how to steward those gifts and how to be faithful to Multiply. In the end, your effectiveness in the Kingdom is up to you.
Being vs. Doing
Multiply
God has a plan, and you have a purpose!
Being vs. Doing
Ephesians 2:8-9 (ESV) For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Ephesians 2:10 (ESV) For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Matthew 16:18-19a (ESV) I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven.
Psalm 139:16 (NLT) You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.
Being vs. Doing
1. Doing gives you the POWER
John 4:34 (NKJV) My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to accomplish his work.
2. Doing gives you the PROMISE
Ephesians 2:10 (ESV) For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
