Each one of us is called to not just BE followers of Christ but to actively DO something in order to Multiply God’s Kingdom. This series dives into the practical by exploring how you can get off the sidelines and discover why you’re here, what you’re gifted in, how to steward those gifts and how to be faithful to Multiply. In the end, your effectiveness in the Kingdom is up to you.

Grace and Gifts

Ephesians 2:8-10 (ESV) For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Romans 12:6 (ESV) Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them

Grace and Gifts

2 Corinthians 12:9 (ESV) My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.

Romans 12:6 (NLT) In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well.

1. All our gifts are different

Romans 12:3 (NLT) Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us.

1 Corinthians 7:17 (ESV) let each person lead the life that the Lord has assigned to him, and to which God has called him.

2. All our gifts matter

Romans 12:4-5 (NLT) Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, 5 so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.

1 Corinthians 12:22 (NLT) some parts of the body that seem weakest and least important are actually the most necessary.

3. All our gifts can build the Kingdom
