multiply - make a move!
October 31, 2021 | Matt Ware
Each one of us is called to not just BE followers of Christ but to actively DO something in order to Multiply God’s Kingdom. This series dives into the practical by exploring how you can get off the sidelines and discover why you’re here, what you’re gifted in, how to steward those gifts and how to be faithful to Multiply. In the end, your effectiveness in the Kingdom is up to you.
Make a Move
Multiply
Make a Move!
James 2:17 (ESV) faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
Genesis 24:13-14 (NLT) I am standing here beside this spring, and the young women of the town are coming out to draw water. 14 This is my request. I will ask one of them, ‘Please give me a drink from your jug.’ If she says, ‘Yes, have a drink, AND I will water your camels, too!’—let her be the one you have selected as Isaac’s wife.
Genesis 24:18-20 (NLT) “Yes, my lord,” she answered, “have a drink.” And she quickly lowered her jug from her shoulder and gave him a drink. 19 When she had given him a drink, she said, “I’ll draw water for your camels, too, until they have had enough to drink.” 20 So she quickly emptied her jug into the watering trough and ran back to the well to draw water for all his camels.
1. Excited
Titus 2:14 (AMP) (Jesus) gave Himself on our behalf that He might redeem us (purchase our freedom) from all iniquity and purify for Himself a people [to be peculiarly His own, people who are] eager and enthusiastic about [living a life that is good and filled with] beneficial deeds.
2. Extra
Colossians 3:23-24 (ESV) Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, 24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.
3. Execute
2 Timothy 4:7-8 (NLT) I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. 8 And now the prize awaits me—the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return.
John 4:34 (NKJV) Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.”
