Perhaps the Lord will help us, for nothing can hinder the Lord. He can win a battle whether he has many warriors or only a few! - 1 Samuel 14:6

Then Samuel took a flask of olive oil and poured it over Saul’s head. He kissed Saul on the cheek and said, “I am doing this because the Lord has appointed you to be the leader of his people Israel.” - 1 Samuel 10:1

Samuel was very upset with their request and went to the Lord for advice. “Do as they say,” the Lord replied, “for it is me they are rejecting, not you. They don’t want me to be their king any longer.” - 1 Samuel 8:6-7

Jesus soon saw a great crowd of people climbing the hill, looking for him. Turning to Philip, he asked, “Philip, where can we buy bread to feed all these people?” He was testing Philip, for he already knew what he was going to do. Philip replied, “It would take a small fortune to feed them!” Then Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, spoke up. “There’s a young boy here with five barley loaves and two fish. . . .” - John 6:5-9
