Who is This Jesus? Our Source

Psalm 61:2 (ESV) Lead me to the rock that is higher than I

Hebrews 13:8 (ESV) Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Matthew 6:31-33 (ESV) do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

1. Jesus takes what you HAVE and makes it what you NEED

Philippians 4:19 (NKJV) my God shall supply ALL your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

2. Jesus takes a LITTLE and makes it a LOT

Mark 6:37-38, 42-43 (ESV) “You give them something to eat.” And they said to him, “Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii worth of bread and give it to them to eat?” 38 And he said to them, “How many loaves do you have? Go and see.” And when they had found out, they said, “Five, and two fish.” 42 And they all ate and were satisfied. 43 And they took up twelve baskets full of broken pieces and of the fish.

3. Jesus takes NOTHING and makes it SOMETHING

Matthew 17:27 (ESV) go to the sea and cast a hook and take the first fish that comes up, and when you open its mouth you will find a shekel. Take that and give it to them for me and for yourself.

Romans 4:17 (ESV) (God) gives life to the dead and calls into existence the things that do not exist.

4. Jesus takes what STOPPED and makes it RESTART

John 21:6 (ESV) He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” So they cast it, and now they were not able to haul it in, because of the quantity of fish.

Luke 1:37 (ESV) nothing will be impossible with God.
